Daybook Analysis – Version 1.10.0 – October 2023

Daybook Analysis can perform analyses one at a time (single analysis), or several analyses in one go (batch analysis), as illustrated in Figure 1. Note that the batch analysis feature is only available with a license for Daybook Data Manager.

This documentation presents the “Single analysis” window, and details how to perform this type of analysis.

I. DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERFACE

The “Single analysis” window is composed of 6 main parts (cf. Figure 2). Each part is described in detail hereinafter.

4. DISPLAY OF THE SELECTED IMAGE

5. HISTOGRAM

6. LOADED IMAGES

II. CROP

After the analysis is launched from the “Single analysis” interface, a crop window appears (cf. Figure 10). Cropping an image is necessary, for example, if several patterns are within the image, as each analysis is associated with a single pattern.

To crop an image, select a region of interest (ROI) and click on “Apply crop”. If you want to cancel this action, click on “Undo crop”.

Note that cropping is not mandatory to analyze an image. If you do not need to crop the image, click directly on “Run the analysis”.
